Five Ways to Show Your Pooch Love on Valentine's Day
Valentineโs Day is when we show the loves in our lives how much they mean to us. For the pet community, our hearts are pawsitively filled with love from our fur babies.
Looking for a new way to show love to your pup? We created five dates ideas based on different types of pooch personalities.
No matter what their vibe is, these Valentineโs Day Dates with your pawtner will get you all the sloppy kisses you can handle!
1. The Diva
We all love a day to sit back, relax, and be stress free โ especially your diva dog! Contact a groomer who offers spa services or use this as an opportunity to try a mobile grooming service! Then you and your pup donโt even have to leave the house. Whatโs more diva than that?? Speaking of not leaving the house, you can create your own spa at home! You can start a bubble bath, give them a relaxing treat, fix their nails, and give them a massage! Create the same environment for your fur baby as you would yourself and you can both have a relaxing day sharing in your puppy love for each other!
2. The Friendly Favorite
A puppy picnic is perfect for your easy-going guy or gal. Since you donโt have to worry about what environment they are in, pack your picnic basket and go on an adventure to find just the right spot. If the weather isnโt great, move the coffee table and throw a blanket on the floor of your living room for a cozy picnic spot indoors. You can make your pup their very own Bark-cut-eri board! Donโt forget to add a variety bowl of our Pup Corn Plus treats ๐ฟ For a more detailed guide, check out our previous blog Plan the Ultimate Puppy Picnic.
3. The Trendsetter
Who doesnโt love a shopping spree on Valentineโs Day?! Load up your stylish pup, get your shopping shoes on, and hit up all the pet friendly stores you can find. Make it a whole day by doing your research and finding dog friendly restaurants, shops, and buying your pupper a new outfit to wear on your fun day out. Then of course end the day with a photo shoot of your shopping haul! Donโt forget to tag us on Instagram ๐
4. The Wild Child
You never know what to expect with these guys so let your dog choose the day! Write down several different options of their favorite places to go like: doggie daycare, dog park, trail run, etc. and find a fun and creative way for your favorite fluff to choose the day. Maybe they can pick it out of a hat, or it could be taped to their toys and they choose the toy out of their toybox! However they (or you ๐) choose, make sure you get your hyperactive pup out of the house and into an activity that will leave them feeling loved and all tuckered out by the end of the day.
5. The Introvert
There is nothing wrong with staying in and having a date night with your favorite cuddle buddy. In fact, your couch pup-tato would prefer it. Be sure to have their Pup Corn Plus treats ready and have all the pet movie classics ready to go. What movies would your marathon include? Take a picture with you & your pup watching your favorite movie and tag us on Instagram!
