Brunch with Your Dog: The Perfect Treat
Did you know that April is National Brunch Month? If you're looking for a fun and unique way to celebrate, why not try having a brunch date with your furry friend?
Now, you might be thinking, "How can I have brunch with my dog? Don't I need to go to a restaurant or cafe?" While there are certainly dog-friendly cafes and restaurants out there, you don't necessarily need to leave your home to have a great brunch date with your dog.
Want to make it a party? Invite your friends and their precious pooches and give your brunch a theme! Need some ideas? Try “Bites & Bubbly” where you all are super fancy and have a chic experience with dog friendly wine! Maybe you want it more casual with a “Puppy Picnic” where your rambunctious bunch can munch and play! “Treats, Tails & Tea” can be your very own doggy tea party! After you choose your theme think about the menu. You'll want to choose foods that are safe and healthy for your dog to eat. Of course, make sure to include their favorite treats! Make sure your dog has access to plenty of fresh, clean water throughout the meal.
Once you've got your menu planned out, it's time to set the scene. Use the theme of choice to help guide your design decisions and base how & where you set up your brunch table. Of course, no brunch date is complete without a little bit of fun. After you've finished eating, play a game or go for a walk! You can also snap some cute photos of your dog in their brunch attire (if you're feeling fancy), or just enjoy the simple pleasure of spending time together.
